Good governance course open to broadcasters worldwide

The Radio Netherlands Training Center is offering an international course on covering good governance for broadcasting managers in developing or transition countries. Application deadline: August 31.

The course aims to strengthen the capacity of participants to research, investigate and report for broadcast and new media in a responsible and ethical way on issues and events related to principles and standards of good governance in their societies.

The training will take place February 1 to April 22, 2010, in Hilversum, Netherlands. Working journalists of any nationality can apply for the course. However, the felowships are only available to journalists in 61 countries selected by the Dutch Ministry of Development.
