In honor of World Water Day on March 22, the U.S.-based Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting is accepting essay responses to the topic, “Inadequate access to safe water and sanitation claims 4,500 lives a day. What should we do about it?” Deadline: March 31. Contributors should base their articles on sound research, first hand reporting and personal experiences.
