Journalists can now access an online stylebook focused on the major world religions, denominations and religious organizations often covered by the media.  The publication, "Reporting on Religion 2: A Stylebook on Journalism’s Best Beat," includes terms that are not included in the widely-used Associated Press (AP) Stylebook.

The course, sponsored by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, is offered in Portuguese and spans four weeks.  Applications can be submitted until March 21 at 10 p.m.

Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting seeking World Water Day essays

In honor of World Water Day on March 22, the U.S.-based Pulitzer Center on Crisis Reporting is accepting essay responses to the topic, “Inadequate access to safe water and sanitation claims 4,500 lives a day. What should we do about it?” Deadline: March 31.  Contributors should base their articles on sound research, first hand reporting and personal experiences.
