Chechen state radio can be accessed online
Posted on: 03/12/2009 Region: Eastern Europe-Central EurasiaState-sponsored radio in the Chechen Republic has gone online. Grozny Radio, available on a live audio stream, is accessible in Chechen, Russian and English.
Programs include five to 10 minute news bulletins and highlights of the week.

Asia and the Pacific, Eastern Europe-Central Eurasia, Latin America, Middle East and North Africa, North America, Sub-Saharan Africa, Western Europe, Worldwide - Portuguese speaking journalism educators with at least two years of experience are encouraged to apply for the online course "Journalism 2.0 for Instructors." The course, sponsored by the Knight Center for Journalism in the Americas, is offered in Portuguese and spans four weeks. Applications can be submitted until March 21 at 10 p.m.
