Fellowship aims to foster an open society

Fellowships being offered though the Open Society Institue aim to support individuals seeking innovative and unconventional approaches to fundamental open society challenges around the world. The fellowship funds work that will enrich public understanding and stimulate conversations within the Open Society Institute and in the world.

The Fellowship usually identifies issues on human rights, government transparency and the promotion of civil society, and can take many forms. It can, for instance, result in the production of publications or arts materials, or activities such as policy debates.

The fellow will receive a stipend based on work experience, seniority, prior earnings and the time committed to the fellowship.
