Editorial management volunteer with Yemen Times

Yemen Times, is Yemen’s first English language newspaper established in 1990. We are an independent well reputed private newspaper. Our editorial staff does not exceed 12 full time employees and 10 part times.  We publish twice a week every Monday and Thursday, you can find us online at www.yementimes.com.

We are looking for an intern with some editorial management experience to assist in the newspaper’s editorial section management. The intern will work closely with the editor in chief in terms of editorial strategy, coaching staff on reporting and editing and how to lead in setting the news agenda.

In return we can offer accommodation and simple remuneration that should cover the volunteers expenses while in Yemen. He or she will be required to stay for at least four months in order to be able to obtain tangible results.
