Colombia meeting to highlight journalism, gender issues

Bogotá, Colombia, will host a meeting on gender perspectives and women's rights in the world of journalism, among other topics, from November 27 to 30. Registration is ongoing.

The meeting is an initiative of Colombia's Red de Periodistas con Visión de Género, which is expecting the participation of a large number of national and international journalists.

The agenda will include debates on communication, feminism, and armed conflict; culture, the media, and sexism; ethics and gender diversity; communication for an intercultural dialogue: human rights and the gender focus; and journalism with a gender vision.

The event is free, but space is limited. A list of participants will be published on November 27.
