Competition open to Iraqi investigative journalists

Iraqi investigative journalists are invited to submit works to a competition that will award four investigative reports in TV, radio, print and digital journalism. Deadline to apply is November 22.

The awards, the Courage in Journalism Awards, are being offered by the Journalistic Freedoms Observatory, a media advocacy group based in Baghdad.

Submissions should have resulted in making a change for the benefit of the society.  Winning journalists will receive US$3,000 and a Courage in Journalism trophy in a ceremony in Baghdad on December 12.
