Training Opportunities
Digital journalism course offered in Doha
Posted on: 10/06/2009 InternetArab journalists interested in online journalism are invited to take part in a training course offered by Al Jazeera Media Training and Development Center in Doha, Qatar from July 19 to July 30.
The course is open to journalists who are transitioning to digital journalism, recent graduates from journalism aschool and print journalists interested in switching to online journalism.
Applicants must have a college degree and no less than one year of experience in journalism.

Asia and the Pacific, Eastern Europe-Central Eurasia, Latin America, Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Worldwide - Print and online journalists who report on the environment can submit works to the 2010 Environmental Media Awards, designed to raise global awareness of environmental and sustainable development issues. Deadline: July 31. Six regional winners will receive cash prizes of US$500.

- Frankly, it is like a dearm if I could one day attend the training in Al-Jazeera training center in Doha. I love jounalism in general and TV jounalsm especially TV correspondent more particulary, it is two expensive for me. I have got differnt diplomas. Your channel should also give chance and voice to poor and talented people. It is a dream and i hope you take this into concideration. with love and respect
