Journalists and communicators can participate in an international summit on the environment in Havana, Cuba, scheduled for June 9 to 11. Registration is ongoing.
The event's goal is to provide a space for analysis and dicussion on urgent themes such as the survival of the planet, human wellfare, environmental preservation, peace and progress, and sustainable development.
Participants can submit papers by February 1 for panels or presentations on the following topics: Ethics and the environmen; Politics and environmental education; For a sustainable world; The environment from a interdisciplinary, historical perspective; Seminar on sustainable developmet for island nations and coastal resources; Youth forum: the world forward.
The event is organized by Proyecto José Martí de Solidaridad Mundial and sponsored by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO).
