Mexican journalists invited to online course on high-risk journalism

Mexican journalists who cover drug trafficking, organized crime, or business/government corruption are invited to take an online course on high-risk journalism. The course will be held April 10 to May 8. Deadline: March 26.

The online course has 35 spots available for Mexican journalists. After the course, 25 participants will join the in-class component in Guadalajara. Registration is free.

The course is divided into four units. For the final project, participants will create a security guideline for Mexican journalists.

Organized by Centro de Periodismo Digital at University of Guadalajara, the program is cosponsored by the Embassy of the United States in Mexico and the International Center for Journalists.
