Online media to be awarded in Belarus

Categories include: Articles, Reviews, Advertising, Photography, Photo Reporting, Photo Reporting Series, Story and Author.
The competition is supported by the social network Yousmi.by and the Institute of Journalism at the Belarusian State University in Minsk, Belarus.

- BBC seeks short documentaries about life in 'your world'

Asia and the Pacific, Eastern Europe-Central Eurasia, Latin America, Middle East and North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Worldwide - BBC is seeking short (no longer than 2 minutes) documentary video entries about "how you see the world." Deadline: March 12. Applicants can use any type of camera, including a mobile phone, a point-and-click, or a friend's camcorder. Entries must be sent in any of the following formats: avi, mov, wmv, mp4, mpg, flv, 3gp, wav, mp3 or wma.
- Competition in Russia honors the anniversary of the end of Great Patriotic War

- Young writers -- from middle school to university students -- and writers in the general public are invited to submit entries to a competition devoted to victory in the Great Patriotic War (1941-1945). Deadline: March 15, 2010. The competition aims to create the national electronic Book of Memory.
