Hi,
I am a Kenyan journalist who has been writing on Peace and Conflict in the Great lakes region and the Horn of Africa. I have attended two courses on the AU Peace and Security Architecture sponsored by Friedrich Ebert Stiftung in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia.
I have realised that this is for West Africa. Is possible for somebody from East Africa to attend? I write for The East African, a regional weekly published by The Nation Media Group and which goes to all the 5 EAC member countries. Thank you. Fred Oluoch

Thanks.
My name is Higenyi Phillip a Ugandan journalist with eight years experience working in eastafrica. Last year i attended a journalism and democracy seminar in Kalmer Sweden where we were taught the art of coaching as an attitude for journalists. Its unfortunate that the fall seminar was the last to be conducted by FOJO. Now that i am in the area of training especially young journalists, iam looking at conducting a one week seminar on the same in Nairobi Kenya and i am looking for organisations or people i can network with on this one. if interested kindly contact me on phillip.kakuru@gmail.com
