Webinar to highlight social networks for journalism

Journalists, editors, and producers in any news medium in Latin America are invited to take part in a one-hour Webinar on October 21 on using social networks for journalism and for connecting with the audience.

IAPA’s Instituto de Prensa is organizing the virtual seminar. Among the topics to be covered: social networks for reporting, disseminating content on the Web and connecting with the audience; and the use of tools such as Twitter, Facebook, Friendfeed, TweetDeck and Posterous.

The webinar will begin at 11 a.m. (Eastern Standard Time) and is free of charge.
