ICFJ предлагает онлайновый тренинг о свободе слова в век Интернета

Журналисты из арабских стран, Северной Америки и Европы приглашаются на онлайновый тренинг "Свобода слова в век Интернета", который пройдет 4 декабря 2009 г - 22 января 2010 г. Срок подачи заявок: 27 ноября.

В течение пяти недель участники тренинга научатся создавать мультимедийный контент, включая создание блогов в Интернете, а также управлять Интернет-сообществами и поддерживать конструктивный диалог. С помощью сайтов Facebook, Twitter и YouTube участники тренинга научатся использовать социальные сети в освещении новостей и применять материалы гражданских журналистов для достижения взаимопонимания между представителями разных культур.

Курс будет проводиться на английском и арабском языках: это даст возможность журналистам из разных стран активно общаться друг с другом.

Лучшие выпускники тренинга получат возможность посетить конференцию в Александрии (Египет) в начале 2010 г и продолжить диалог с коллегами со всего земного шара.

Тренинг состоит из двух частей, между которыми планируются двухнедельные каникулы (в конце года). Обучение на тренинге оплачивает Союз цивилизаций ООН.

The course will be held online and every participant must spend no less than 5 hours a week to read the material, complete the assignment and interact with the other participants. The course usually starts at 9 a.m. US EST. Participants will be graded based on that. And yes, the participants who finish the course successfully will receive a graduation certificate issued by the International Center for Journalists.

I'm Somali Journalist know living in Nairobi Kenya, and I would like to know more about this online Training course,

I think this five weeks Course will become a good course to develop the Skills of the participators.
But the question which I want to know is, why allowed only the Journalists living in Arab world, North America and Europe, to take part this Course. When African journalist will get their chance to learn good articles.

Finally I will hope to know about Freedom of expression.
I'm looking for your answer.

Hi my names carmen inkpen. I am 18 years old.
i was wondering if you could answer a few questions. I am living in Qatar at the moment, But i am a Canadian. Would i still be allowed to participate?
You get a certificate at the end? and that would show that i have completed the course?
When doing this, Would i recieve things to work on, or would you assign a topic and have us go from there?
